I also have another party that is just starting out. My main character is a thief, Imoen has been dual classed to a specialist mage and I also have Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc and Dynaheir. I will be getting Coran and Branwen to replace Khalid and Jaheira soon though.
I am always being asked why I keep Khalid and Jaheira. Basically, I am comfortable with them in my party, they are not that bad and my tactics have evolved around having them in the group from the start. I have always liked parties with two fighters, two mages a thief and a cleric of some sort. It is the sort of balance that suits my tactics. I know that some friends of mine have a single mage and an extra fighter but I guess it is what you are used to using.
If I ever get anywhere with my new party and like it then I may well put a page up for them but that may have to wait a bit.
