Icewind Dale
This page is dedicated to the game of Icewind Dale.
IWD was released just before Baldur's Gate 2 and is based on a tweaked Baldur's gate engine. As the name suggests, it is set in Icewind dale, a harsh and bleak land. Unlike Baldur's Gate, you generate your entire party from the outset and adventure to a much higher level. With a strong but very much linear plotline, IWD is seen as a bit more of a hack 'n' slash RPG than the others in the series.
