Planescape:Torment came out shortly after Baldur's Gate and utilises the same game engine. It is a darker game set in the PlaneScape setting in which you are an immortal who has lost all his memory. The interface is slightly different and the effects etc improved from Baldur's Gate. There is more of an emphasis on conversation, especially within your own party.
